Callista is a German aroma variety with a richly fruity profile: strawberry, pear and passion fruit with caramel and orange.
In beer it opens into intense fruit: apricot, peach and blackberry with a hint of pine. Best in late additions and in the dry hop.
For modern fruit-forward beers, Pale Ale and new-wave Lagers.
