Product detailed description
Roasted barley is our darkest grain and is made from unmalted barley. The resulting color can be nearly opaque and the flavor is reminiscent of dark, bitter roasted coffee.
The combination of chocolate, black malt, and roasted barley ensures excellent complexity and balance in stouts.
Keep in mind that these dark grains have an acidifying effect on the mash, so be sure to have properly adjusted salts.
