Product detailed description

Crisp Chocolate (Coffee) Malt is a roasted malt — roasted for a shorter time and at a lower temperature than Black Malt, so it is less astringent.

It gives beer a dark colour and a rich roasted aroma with notes of espresso, toasted nuts and a pinch of pepper.

Dosed at up to 5% of the grist. For Stout, Porter and stronger Milds; combined with Roasted Barley the profile can be tuned from gently sweet to sharply roasted.
