    Product detailed description

    Crisp Haná Malt is a base malt from the historic Haná barley variety — the one the first Pilsner lagers were brewed from in the 1840s. Crisp revived the variety and malts it on malting floors dating from 1870.

    It gives a very pale colour and a clean continental character with notes of freshly baked bread and gentle maltiness.

    Makes up to 100% of the grist. For Pilsner, Helles and all Lagers.
