    Product detailed description

    Crisp Haná Malt is a base malt from the historic Haná barley variety. The one the first Pilsner lagers were brewed from in the 1840s. Crisp revived the variety and malts it on malting floors dating from 1870.

    It gives a very pale colour and a clean continental character with notes of freshly baked bread and gentle maltiness.

    Makes up to 100% of the grist. For Pilsner, Helles and all Lagers.
