Crisp Clear Choice is a malt from a specially bred barley variety that contains no proanthocyanidins: the polyphenols behind astringency and chill haze in beer.

After fining or filtration it gives a brilliantly clear, shelf-stable wort with a gentle honeyed sweetness, with no need for further stabilisation.

It is also recommended for Hazy IPA and other hazy styles, where oxidative darkening of polyphenols tends to be a problem, and helps when brewing extremely pale cask-conditioned beers (cask ale).
