    Citra is an American aroma variety and one of the most sought-after hops in craft brewing. Grapefruit and lime lead the aroma, backed by peach, melon, passion fruit and lychee.

    A high oil content gives beer an intense, juicy hop character, and thanks to a low cohumulone content the bitterness stays smooth even at high alpha levels.

    Citra works at any stage of the brew; late additions and dry hopping bring out the most aroma. Ideal for Pale Ale, IPA, Double IPA and NEIPA.
