Detailed information

Product detailed description

Nelson Sauvin is a New Zealand variety famous for its wine-like character: notes of white wine, fresh gooseberry and grapes recall Sauvignon Blanc. The grape it was named after.

A dual-purpose hop with a very assertive character. The fruity, vinous aroma can quickly dominate a beer, so it pays to dose it with care.

It shows best in late boil additions and dry hopping. A great fit for bold Pale Ales and IPAs; in smaller doses it can lift a Lager as well.
