Žatecký poloraný červeňák (Saaz) is the best-known Czech variety and one of the world’s noble hops: a fine, earthy aroma with undertones of herbs and flowers.
It shows best in late boil additions and in dry hopping.
The soul of Czech Lager and Pilsner; it also suits softer top-fermented styles.
