Chinook Hops (USA)
Product detailed description
Chinook is an American dual-purpose variety with a high alpha acid content. Grapefruit and citrus zest lead the aroma over resinous pine with spicy, earthy-herbal undertones.
It gives a firm, assertive bitterness; in the whirlpool and dry hop it adds a piney citrus character to the beer.
A building block of West Coast IPA; it also fits Pale Ale, Red Ale or American wheat beer.
