Vera is a brand-new American variety (USDA, 2025) with a clean, intense aroma of tropical fruit: pineapple and mango with peach and soft citrus.

The profile is very stable in the finished beer and closely matches the scent of the dried hop; a lower alpha suits it to aroma additions.

For modern fruit-forward beers from Pale Ale to Hazy IPA.
