    BEST Black Malt is a strongly roasted malt: roasted more intensively than BEST Chocolate, but still by a gentle process.

    It gives beer a very dark to black colour and, depending on the dose, notes of dark chocolate and coffee without harsh astringency; the foam stays pale.

    Dosed at up to 5% of the grist. For Schwarzbier, Bock, Alt, strong beers, Porter and other very dark beers with a roasted character.
