El Dorado is an American dual-purpose variety with a juicy tropical-fruit profile: pear, watermelon and stone fruit with a sweet, almost candy-like impression.
It gives a soft, balanced bitterness; in late additions the tropical fruit comes through in full.
It fits wherever fruit should play the lead: from Pale Ale to IPA and NEIPA.
