Vital is a Czech high-alpha variety, also known for its high content of prenylflavonoids, which is why it is sometimes called the pharmaceutical hop.
In beer it gives fruity, herbal and floral aroma with a spicy undertone. A versatile hop: suited to early additions as well as late ones.
For lagers and top-fermented styles, Czech and modern alike.
