Light malt extract is concentrated wort from an infusion mash of Czech Pilsner-type malt and drinking water: a thick, golden-brown liquid with a honey-like consistency, free of additives, preservatives, colourings and flavourings.
The aroma is malty and sweet; dry matter around 81%.
For extract brewing in microbreweries and at home, boosting the gravity of a batch, and a range of food uses: baking, wine making, sweetening.
