Filter diatomaceous earth F 10 is a fine grade of diatomaceous earth for precoat filtration of beer.
Diatomaceous earth (the silica shells of diatoms) forms a permeable layer on the filter that captures yeast and trub; the fine grade gives the cleanest filtration at a slower flow rate.
