A medium-dark caramel malt. For Märzen, Bock, Amber Ale, Amber Lager, wheat beers and amber to dark beers. EBC 61–80.

BEST Caramel Amber is a medium-dark caramel malt.

It gives beer an amber colour, a full body and pronounced notes of dates and biscuits; like the other caramel malts it also supports the foam.

Makes up to 50% of the grist. For Märzen, Bock, Amber Ale, Amber Lager, wheat beers and amber to dark beers.
